Yes, sometimes this can be really annoying specially on windows that it starts update automatically. which causes many problems like lows down your internet speed and if you are on a limited data then it also is very expensive. and windows doesn't give any option to pause or stop update on update screen, But we can pause update and start it whenever we want. without too much technical knowledge by following these simple steps.

Steps to pause update on windows.

Step 1:- Go to the search bar and search for services. then click enter

Step 2:- Scroll deep down and click on windows update.

Step 3:- select disable (or whatever you want) from the drop-down and click on stop ( if an update is running), then click on apply and click on Ok.
